Workshops and activities
Create, move, discover
In addition to the daily work in class, Maison des Enfants de Marne la Vallée offers children workshops, sport sessions and outings. So many opportunities to express themselves, burn off energy and open up to the world, alone or with others.
Weekly workshops
Each workshop runs once a week in small groups for the older children in the 3–6 environment.
English workshop
In addition to daily immersion, children train their ear to the sounds of English and enrich their vocabulary through playful, interactive activities. A time of exchange that the children look forward to.
Art workshop
In the early afternoon, children discover the work of different artists and try out many techniques: painting, ink, prints, stencils, stamps, cutting out, collage… They develop their creativity, their manual skills and their knowledge of the world.
Sport time
Running, jumping, throwing, keeping their balance: by moving, children learn to control their bodies, build strength and stamina, and discover the pleasure of playing and cooperating with others.

The 2–3 class: every morning

The 3–6 environment: twice a week
Depending on the season and the weather, sessions take place indoors or outdoors. On the programme: warm-ups, running, jumping and throwing games, obstacle courses, balance games, cooperative or competitive games, and stretching.
Outings and discoveries
Throughout the year, the children go out to discover their surroundings: observing autumn and its falling leaves, taking part in outdoor sports games…
When possible, an artist comes to introduce them to their world: musical instruments, theatre, magic…
Before the summer holidays, all the children get together for a picnic in a large park in Bussy-Saint-Georges.
A year to share
At the end of the year, families are invited to an exhibition of the work made by the children. It's a chance to discover the projects carried out during the year and to share some lovely moments with the team.
Each family also receives a short video looking back on the year, as a keepsake.
